Working through Aperial, and for TVR Communications, subScripts and Studios 4thirteen created this Interactive Television interface for the patient. The interface, controlled through the patient's pillow speaker, was able to browse television channels, access VOD, order food, request staff, go online, listen to music, and learn all about the hospital and its policies. The system was deployed hospital wide, and allows the patient greater control over their surroundings. Further, it frees up the nurses' time to focus solely on medical issues.
