Picking Up
It's been a little while since I've posted any news. In some ways, that's a good thing. It means I've been keeping busy. I'm just wrapping up a 24-page brochure for Dominican Hospital, and will be working on an additional folder for them as well. I'll also be working on a new H1N1 Awareness Campaign in the coming weeks.

I've completed the logo and website for Mark Farrell who is running for the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco. You can see the site and logo in the "Creative" section.

Finally, CTW (Commended to The Word) has hired me to do additional packaging for the their audio discs as well as packaging for an audio version of Daniel Brown's book "Heaven".

Finally, I've enjoyed being involved in the development of a new web-based application that's going to forever change how creatives show their work to their clients. It's very exciting. More to come on that in months ahead.

They Call Me the Working Man
I haven't been called that much this year - nor have many of us considering the state of our economy. But I am grateful for some new work. I have been working on design concepts for Susi's Flowers in Aptos. She has an old site that is in much need of an overhaul.

Dominican Oaks has kept me busy with an increase in advertising.

Dominican Hospital has given me some signage and a new folder brochure.

And finally, an up-and-coming politician in San Francisco who has hired me to help design a logo, website, and other materials for his campaign. Should be a fun and exciting undertaking.

Work
I took a vacation of sorts last week. I spent my time volunteering at our church's Vacation Bible School. In it, I played the role of Max Power - a very professional news reporter in one of the bi-daily skits. It was a lot of fun. There was a robot.

But now it's Monday. And I'm back at it. I have new working coming in from Dominican Oaks, Dominican Hospital, Smith-Wagle Commercial Management, and Meade Construction Group. I also have a meeting tomorrow with a client to create a new website.

Things are looking up!

A very special thanks to Meade Construction Group and Dominican Hospital with whom I have worked consistently since Day 1. God bless!

From Slow-mo to Normal...-mo...?
The month of April was a bit slow. But a few things are in the cooker and getting ready to "pop". A new client in Los Altos is looking to update their website, and start a new website for a side business they are beginning. I also have a new client in Aptos who desperately needs a new site. And while those things are getting finalized, I also continue to work with Meade Construction Group, Dominican Oaks, and Dominican Hospital.

Busy Month
March was a full month. Meade hired me to do a few additional photo shoots. I began working on a new ad campaign for Dominican Oaks. A very cool looking logo was completed for Unify 09 (which you can see in "Creative"). And a couple new promotional flyers for Bin 38 and 38 North.

Effone Software
Some exciting movement for Studios 4thirteen this month. Today, I picked up a new client located in Sunnyvale called Effone Software. I'll be doing some web and interface design for them. I've also been asked to redesign a website for a local, and amazing, florist. Look for these projects to post on soon.

Of Logos and Brochures
Pajaro Valley Irrigation has signed off on their new logo. Check it out on the Identity section. Also, I have final sign-off for the new Dominican Oaks 12-page brochure. It will be on press and in the community soon. Dominican Oaks has also hired me for additional advertising as well as the creation of another small brochure.

Off and Running
2009 has begun. And so far, it hasn't been as bad as expected. I've picked up a couple small projects; a website for Aptos Windows and a logo for Pajaro Valley Irrigation. Also this month I've been filling in as the Art Director at Dominican Hospital while theirs is out on sick leave for a couple weeks. The Coastlands church has hired me to create a new weekly bulletin as well as a logo for VBS 2009 for this summer. And finally, Meade Construction Group has hired me to go on location and take some more pictures of their projects. This is a total blessing. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. As does my family.
